1.  MARY ANN "POLLIE"2 KNIGHT  (CAPTAIN JOHN1) was born April 14, 1802, and died August 12, 1877 in Hopkins Co., KY.  She married JACOB B. OGLESBY June 17, 1824 in Christian Co., KY.  He was born July 19, 1803 in SC, and died June 17, 1878 in Hopkins Co., KY.

Notes for JACOB B. OGLESBY:
Jacob came to northern Christian Co., KY Abt 1790 (From History of Christian Co, KY)
He previously had lived in the Red River are in West TN.  (From Pension application).

On census record and two deeds at Hopkins Co., KY, Jacob's wife is listed as Mary A.  In Sarah Elvira Putman's questionnaire of 1922, she says her father's sister was Polly who married Oglesby.  The marriage license, grave marker and family bible has her name as "Polly Ann".  Polly is a common nickname for Mary.
