ELLETT B. BOND

        Ellett B. Bond, 85, of LaRose died yesterday (June 15, 1982) at St. Margaret's Hospital, Spring Valley.  His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Crow Meadow United Presbyterian Church, LaRose, with Rev. John Duling officiating.  Burial will be in Linn-Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Washburn.  Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. today at Pacey-Child Memorial Home, Washburn.

        Mr. Bond was born September 15, 1896, in Hamilton County, a son of William and Ellen Wilkey Bond.  He married Lela Hollis on August 27, 1919, in Eureka.  She survives.  Other survivors include two sons, Thomas of LaRose, and Lloyd of Danville; and three grandchildren.  Five brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.

        Mr. Bond spent part of his life framing and was the star route mail carrier until his retirement in 1967.  He was a member of Crow Meadow United Presbyterian Church and the Varna America Legion Post 892.  He was a veteran of WWI.  Memorials may be made to Washburn Community Ambulance or to a charity of the doner's choice.
