Mary Meadows, widow of Robert M. Meadows, died at her home this morning at about five o'clock. (April 18, 1928)

Mrs. Meadows was 78 years of age and had been ill for some time with dropsy and heart trouble.

She is survived by two sons and three daughters as follows: Mrs. Emma Wells, Dahlgren, Mrs. Effie Jenkins, Wayne City, Amos Meadows, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Della Williams, Dahlgren, and Louis Meadows, Sullivan, Ill.  She is also survived by one sister and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at Union Church south of Dahlgren at two o'clock Thursday afternoon.  The services will be conducted by Rev. John B. Maulding.
