Lily B. Mellon Page

         Lily B. Mellon, was born in Hamilton Co. March 6th, 1871.  She was a daughter of Thomas II and Mary A. Mellon and departed this life at Mathews, Mo., October 30, 1917, being 46 years, 7 months, 24 days old, she was married to W. M. Page in the year 1890.  To this union was born five children four boys and one girl, the girl has preceded her to the better world.  She professed religion early in life and united with the Baptist Church, later in life she was united with the M. E. Church where her membership remained.  She leaves besides her husband and children, one brother Cyrus Mellon, two sisters, Mrs. Will Sears and Mrs. C. P. Widows besides a host of other relatives and friends to mourn their loss.

It is sad news to know that Mr. Page could not attend the funeral service on account of the illness of one of their son's who is very low at present.  May God's people send up a prayer for him in this time of sadness and trouble.

Funeral service was held at Ten Mile Nov. 2nd conduced by Rev. C. M Prince and the body was laid to rest in the cemetery at that place.
