Richard McGhee of Benton has received word of the death of his cousin Mrs. Janie Hall Richardson, wife of Lewis Richardson, who died at her home in Ray, Arizona, Friday of pneumonia.  She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Hall now of Carbondale, but made their home in Hamilton County.  She was graduated from Southern Illinois Normal and the University of Arizona and at the time of her death was teaching in the Ray High School.  The body will be brought to Carbondale Saturday, and services will be held there at 2 p.m.  Burial will follow at Little Springs Monday.

Mrs. Richardson was well known in Benton.
