Iva YODER, 104, McLeansboro, died at 10:15 p.m. Feb. 5, 1987 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept 15, 1882 at Pemberton, Ohio daughter of Stewart and Elizabeth (Davidson) Van Horn.  On April 20, 1904, she married Simon Yoder, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Yoder was a retired employee of Elder Shirt Factory.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in McLeansboro.

Services will be held Feb. 9 at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with rev. Robert Sefried officiating.  Burial will be in I. O. O. F. Cemetery in McLeansboro.

Mrs. Yoder is survived by three sons; Aubrey Yoder of McLeansboro. Kermit Yoder of Santa Barbara, Ca. and Ira Yoder of Tampa, Fla.; one daughter, Maycel Gunter of McLeansboro; eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and eight great –great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, five brothers and one sister.
