James B. Gunter was born in May 17, 1824 and died in
December 3, 1863 in
Knights Prairie Township, Hamilton Co., IL. He fought for the 87th
Illinois Infantry, Co. "E". He is buried on the land he once
owned, off of Goshen Rd., in Knights Prairie Twp. He was
a member of the I.O.O.F.

Nancy E. Davis -Gunter-Bright. She was born January 23, 1837
and died March 22.
