The Will of McAllister A. Hooker

I, McAllister A. Hooker of McLeansboro in the County of Hamilton and State of Illinois being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefor make, ordain, publish and declare this to be My Last Will and Testament:
First: I order and direct that my Executrix hereinafter named, apy all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon after my decease as conveniently may be.
Second: After the payment of such funeral expenses and debts I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Elizabeth J. Hooker, all of my property, both real and personal, during her natural life, except as is hereinafter provided.
Third: I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved daughter, Eudora E. Hooker, One thousand ($1000.00) Dollars which amount is to be deposited in the Cloud State Bank of McLeansboro, Illinois, and she to have only the interest paid on same by the bank, during her lifetime. And in case she recovers from her present condition and is discharged from the Hospital, then the One Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars to be turned over to her to be hers absolutley.  One of my heirs, to be chosen by a majority of my heirs living, to draw the interest on the One Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars, hereby given to Eudora E. Hooker, and expend it for clothing or other necessaries fro her.
Fourth: I give, devise and bequeath to my heirs, share and share alike, all the property both real and personal, taht may remain from my estate after the death of my beloved wife. And also the One Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars devised to my daugher Eudora E. Hooker, in case of her death before coming into possession of the same. In case of the death of any of my children, then their share is to descend to their children.
Fifth: It is my will that my Executrix shall not be required to give Bond as such Executrix. make appraisement, or inventory of my property.
Lastly: I make, constitute and appoint Elizabeth J. Hooker without bond to be Executirx of this, my last Will and Testatment, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
In Witness Whereof, I have hereto subscribed my name and affixed my seal
the Thirteenth dau of September in the year of out Lord ONne Thousand Nine Hunderd Eleven.

Signed, Sealed, published and declared by the said McAllister A. Hooker as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us here in his presence and in the presence of each other, and at his request have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
